This supple Merlot displays lip smacking aromas and flavors of ripe cherry and plum with notes of dark chocolate and exotic spice. Versatile and approachable, it pairs well with pizza, pasta dishes, burgers and barbecued pork.

The Indaba 2007 Merlot offers a mouth-filling and seamlessly ripe, if relatively light-bodied rendition of this ubiquitous variety, featuring ripe cherry, beet root, dark chocolate, and licorice. The finish hints at the wine’s six grams of residual sugar and 14.5% alcohol, but by no means in any obvious or imbalanced way.
